Blue Marble Cocktails, a provider of all-natural, ultra-premium, ready-to-drink, pre-mixed cocktails and spirits, announced plans to relocate its Oregon-based headquarters and manufacturing operations to Indianapolis, creating up to 51 new, high-wage jobs by 2019.

The company is investing more than $9 million to relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations from Portland, Oregon, to Indianapolis, with plans to initially lease and renovate an 18,000-square-foot facility at 6008 Corporate Way. The new facility, which began production this month, will house Blue Marble Cocktails' office space, show room and its mixing and production warehouse. With the company’s growth in Indiana, Blue Marble Cocktails will be able to produce nearly 3 million cases, which includes 24 cans per case, of its all-natural, ultra-premium, ready-to-drink cocktails and spirits. The company plans to build a brand new production site in the future, and has already begun its search for a permanent location in central Indiana.

Blue Marble Cocktails, which was founded by a native Hoosier, Alan Miller, employs eight full-time associates in Indiana and is currently hiring for brand ambassadors, operation managers and quality control supervisors, with new positions expected to offer average wages nearly double the state’s average wage. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Blue Marble Productions Inc up to $765,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation and investment plans. The city of Indianapolis supports the project at the request of Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
